Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts (Ankara Müzik ve Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi, MGÜ) is a public university founded on July 1, 2017 in Ankara. It is the first higher education institution in Turkey that is fully specialized in music and fine arts.
The university is located in the Çankaya district and offers modern teaching facilities: concert halls, studios, a library and dormitories. Education takes place in four faculties, an institute and a vocational school. In the 2021–2022 academic year, MGÜ had 575 students and 96 teaching staff.

The programs cover a variety of fields including classical music, traditional Turkish music, jazz, pop music, painting, sculpture, graphic design, film and television.

International relations
MGÜ actively participates in international exchange programs, including Erasmus+. The university accepts international students and offers programs in English. YÖS or SAT exams are not required for admission, but they may be an advantage. There is also the opportunity to study Turkish at TÖMER centers.

Student life
MGÜ offers a rich student life with participation in concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events. The university organizes various events, giving students the opportunity to showcase their talents and skills. Student dormitories and canteens are also available.
