Erciyes University (Erciyes Üniversitesi, ERÜ) is one of the leading public universities in Turkey, founded in 1978 under the name Kayseri University (Kayseri Üniversitesi) and renamed in 1982 in honor of Mount Erciyes, located in the southwest of Kayseri and known as one of the main ski resorts of Turkey.

Today the university includes:

Campuses and infrastructure
Erciyes Üniversitesi has four main campuses:
Main Campus (Ana Kampüs) – located on Talas Road, convenient for transportation.
Seyrani Campus (Seyrani Kampüsü) – located in Develi district.
Tomarza Campus (Tomarza Kampüsü) – located in the Tomarza district.
Campus "15 July" (Erciyes Üniversitesi 15 Temmuz Yerleşkesi) - created in honor of the events of July 15, 2016.
All campuses are equipped with modern laboratories, research centers, student residences, libraries, sports facilities and medical centers.
