Fenerbahçe University was founded in 2016 by the Fenerbahçe Education, Culture and Health Foundation. Situated in the center of Istanbul, the university offers a safe, modern and high-quality educational environment.
The University actively cooperates with two major brands:
Medicana Medical Group, providing medical students with internship and practice opportunities;
Fenerbahce Sports Club, offering students access to professional sports facilities, programs and activities.
In 2023, the university was included in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings (THE) for the first time.
It was assessed against the 5 categories of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In the SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being category, the university ranked in the 601–800 range out of 1,218 universities worldwide.
In the SDG 4 – Quality Education category, the university was ranked in the 801–1000 range out of 1,304 universities.
