KTO Karatay University is a private (foundation) university based in Konya, supported by the Konya Chamber of Commerce (Konya Ticaret Odası). The university traces its roots back to the famous Karatay Madrasah founded in 1251 and aims to become a world-class university by its 800th anniversary in 2051.
