Istanbul Topkapı University is a modern higher education institution that offers quality education with an international perspective. Founded in 2009 as Plateau Vocational College, the university has undergone an important transformation: it became Istanbul Ayvansaray University in 2016 and has been named İstanbul Topkapı Üniversitesi since 2022.
The University combines tradition and innovation, offering students programs at the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels.

International cooperation and exchange
Istanbul Topkapi University actively develops international cooperation and provides students with opportunities to participate in exchange programs. The university participates in several key programs:
Erasmus+ programme: allows students to study at European partner universities for a semester or a full academic year.
Farabi Program: Provides exchange between private and public universities in Turkey.
Mevlana Program: Provides student exchange between Turkish and foreign universities.
The university’s international partners include Albanian University (Albania), Sigmund Freud University (Austria), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (Malaysia) and others.
