Istanbul New Century University (İstanbul Yeni Yüzyıl Üniversitesi, İYYÜ) is a private university founded in 2009 by the Vatan Health and Education Foundation (VASEV). The first student intake took place in the 2010-2011 academic year. Since its establishment, the university has been adhering to the traditions of the culture and values of foundation education, providing high quality teaching and research.

İYYÜ has received accreditation for a number of programs, including Communication Education Accreditation Council (İLEDAK) accreditation for the Radio and Television program. However, the Faculty of Medicine is not yet accredited.

İYYÜ actively supports the academic mobility of students. The university offers studies in 46 European countries through the Erasmus+ program. In addition, the university has various international agreements that allow students to study at partner universities abroad.
