IMPORTANT DETAILS

Most universities in Turkey teach in Turkish. However, some departments and universities offer programs in English or other languages.
Applicants wishing to study in such programs must provide an internationally recognized language proficiency certificate (for example, TOEFL or equivalent certificate). In addition, most of these programs require the results of international entrance examinations (GRE, GMAT, SAT, etc.).
When selecting programs in the application system, candidates can check the language of instruction for each program.
Candidates entering undergraduate programmes using international examinations (SAT, GCSE, etc.) instead of national examinations must meet the minimum requirements for completion of secondary education according to these examinations.
All Türkiye Bursları scholarship recipients who do not have a C1 level Turkish language certificate are required to complete a one-year Turkish language training course and achieve C1 level by the end of the academic year (even if their main programme of study is in English or another language).
