Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi (KTÜ) was founded in 1955 and was the first university in Turkey outside of Istanbul and Ankara. Today, it is one of the largest public universities in the country, located in Trabzon on the Black Sea.
The university comprises faculties, institutes and colleges, offering undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in a wide range of subjects, from engineering and medicine to humanities and the arts. The campus covers an area of approximately five million square metres and includes academic buildings, research centres, sports facilities, libraries and student residences.

International Opportunities
