Faculties and academic structure
İstanbul Medipol University is a private university founded on 7 July 2009 by the Medipolitan Health and Wellbeing Foundation, which today operates under the name TESA Health and Wellbeing Foundation (Türkiye Health, Wellbeing and Wellbeing Foundation). The university was established by Law No. 5913 published in the Official Gazette of Turkey (Resmi Gazete No. 27281) and received the legal status of a private university.
The mission of the University is to be a modern, productive, internationally and innovative educational institution, with a priority on medicine and healthcare, offering young people high-quality, interdisciplinary education and international opportunities.

Campuses
Halic Campus (Haliç Yerleşkesi)
It is located in the Golden Horn (Haliç) area, in the historical part of Istanbul, next to the Unkapanı Bridge. The university building is located in the former TEKEL company complex, built in the style of Republican modernism, restored while preserving the original architectural appearance. Today, in this historical place, students receive a modern education.
